Yes my dear, I'm giving you VIP access to the hottest club in town, the place where all the cool kids and conscious eaters land during the holidays. The place...The One Plate Club. So, what is the One Plate Club and why do you want in?
First, a touch of backstory.... The holidays were not always smiling pumpkins, dreidels, and twinkling Christmas ornaments for me. In fact, I used to dread the holidays and habitually broke out in a sweat come November as I thought about all the amazing (and rich) food I was going to gorge on. I wanted to eat the cranberry pear tart, homemade eggnog and 7 layer bean dip but HOW without stuffing myself. Round and round my brain would go, desperately trying to decide what to do. Eventually I'd arrive at an answer that was always all or nothing. I was either going to stick to salad or eat 15 latkes, a pound of turkey, 4 scoops of mashed potatoes, and a good dozen ginger cookies.
The former always won out and was quickly accompanied by guilt and a strong desire for my pajama pants.
In today's video I give you the holiday survival tip that saved me and will allow you to eat latkes, turkey, short ribs, potatoes, cookies and whatever else tickles your tastebuds while maintaining balance and ease in your eating. Sound too good to be true? Check it out and see.
