[Video] How to navigate being ‘too big”, dating and stuffing your face.

If you didn’t know already, deep conversation is one of my favorite things in the entire world. Take away TV, shut down Pottery Barn and J.Crew, tell me I can’t have ice cream anymore, and that’d be fine. I’d live. But remove insightful, authentic conversation and my soul would simply dry up.

It’s been a few months since our last episode of The Coming Home Project, the interview series where I talk with inspiring women who openly share their unique and current journey home to their bodies, their truth and themselves. In this episode, I interview artist and illustrator Mati Rose McDonough about being ‘too big”, the many reasons why we stuff our face and the importance of liking our body BEFORE we begin dating. Click the video below to play it now.

Mati is an incredible dear and tender soul to me and I know you’ll love her as much as I do. Also, be sure to pay attention at minute 11 where Mati and I touch upon the connection between our scarcity mentality around food, over eating and insecurity around finances. Fascinating.

All of my love, enjoy the episode and as always, thank you for being here.
